An exceptional school is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join its supportive team immediately, ensuring the continuity of learning across various subjects. We welcome applications for flexible contract options, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or even permanent positions, with a competitive daily rate ranging from £145 to £160. Key Responsibilities
• Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring students remain on task with set work.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment in line with school policies.
• Facilitate the learning process by distributing and collecting resources, providing clear instructions for activities.
• Respond promptly to any issues or emergencies that may arise, escalating concerns to relevant staff when necessary.
• Safeguard the well-being and safety of all students, adhering strictly to the school's pastoral guidelines.
• Establish positive relationships with students, fostering a respectful and engaging atmosphere.
About You
• Possess previous experience in supervising groups of young people, ideally within an educational setting.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with students and staff.
• Exhibit strong behaviour management techniques, ensuring a calm and focused classroom environment.
