About the Role
A forward-thinking school in the Ely area of Cambridgeshire is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their primary team. This vital role involves providing tailored support to pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) within a specialist setting. You will work closely with children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, assisting those with complex learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. Opportunities for long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent engagements are available, with competitive pay ranging from £90 to £115 per day, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct, individualised support to primary pupils holding Education, Health and Care Plans.
* Facilitate learning and engagement for children on a 1:1 basis, adapting to their specific requirements.
* Lead small group activities, fostering an inclusive and encouraging educational experience.
* Assist pupils with a range of complex learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
* Contribute positively to the overall well-being and development of all pupils.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers and specialist staff to implement learning strategies.
