About the Role
A forward-thinking school is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join their vibrant team and play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of learning across various subjects. Key Responsibilities
• Supervise students undertaking pre-set work during the absence of their regular teacher.
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment within the classroom.
• Manage student behaviour effectively, ensuring adherence to school policies and procedures.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils under your supervision throughout the school day.
• Respond to student queries and provide appropriate support to keep them focused on their tasks.
• Report any significant issues or concerns regarding student behaviour or welfare to the relevant staff member.

About You
• Demonstrable experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive rapport with students.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to managing diverse classroom scenarios with confidence.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions and school guidelines diligently.
• A genuine passion for supporting student learning and development across different age groups.
• Resilience and a calm demeanour when faced with challenges in a busy school environment.
