A respected school in the East Midlands is seeking an exceptional SEMH Teacher to join their dedicated primary team. This vital role involves supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, fostering a positive learning environment where every child can thrive. You will have the opportunity to build meaningful therapeutic relationships and expertly manage challenging behaviours, ensuring engaging and accessible lessons are delivered daily. We are open to discussions around long-term, daily supply, or permanent contracts, with an immediate start available for the right candidate. This fulfilling position offers a competitive daily rate ranging from £150 to £250, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to primary pupils with SEMH needs.
* Implement effective strategies for managing challenging behaviour in a supportive manner.
* Foster strong therapeutic relationships with pupils, promoting their emotional wellbeing and development.
* Collaborate closely with colleagues to create a cohesive and inclusive learning environment.
* Assess pupil progress diligently, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning styles.
* Contribute positively to the wider school community and its commitment to pupil success.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a demonstrable passion for SEN education.
