About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join an inclusive school in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, starting as soon as possible. This rewarding opportunity supports primary phase pupils across a range of needs, including general classroom assistance and specialised SEN support. We are open to discussing various contract types, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, and permanent positions, offering flexibility to suit your career aspirations. This vital role comes with a competitive daily rate of £95 - £110, reflecting the significant impact you will make within a thriving educational environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to pupils, both individually and in small groups, to enhance their learning journey.
* Assist the class teacher in preparing engaging learning materials and maintaining an organised classroom environment.
* Implement strategies to support pupils with Special Educational Needs, fostering their independence and progress.
* Monitor pupil engagement and provide constructive feedback to help them overcome challenges.
* Contribute positively to the overall school community, upholding its values and ethos.
* Facilitate positive behaviour management, creating a nurturing and respectful atmosphere.

About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting primary-aged children in their educational development.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Exhibit a proactive and adaptable approach, responding effectively to diverse classroom needs.
* Hold relevant experience or qualifications in supporting children, particularly those with SEN requirements.
* Show a commitment to continuous professional growth and learning within an educational setting.
* Be an enthusiastic team player, eager to collaborate and share best practices.
