About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a flourishing school in Buckinghamshire. This vital role involves supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring pupils remain engaged with their learning and maintaining a productive classroom atmosphere across various subjects within the secondary phase. We are keen to hear from individuals interested in a variety of contract types, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or even a permanent position, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-prepared work to classes of secondary-aged pupils, ensuring tasks are understood.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a positive and respectful learning environment.
* Ensure the safety and welfare of pupils at all times, adhering to school policies.
* Establish excellent rapport with pupils, encouraging their participation and engagement.
* Report any notable pupil achievements, concerns, or incidents to the relevant teaching staff.
* Maintain a tidy and organised classroom, preparing for the next lesson as needed.

About You
* You possess previous experience working with young people in an educational setting, preferably secondary.
* You demonstrate excellent classroom management and behaviour guidance skills.
* You are adaptable and flexible, able to respond calmly and effectively to unforeseen situations.
* You communicate clearly and effectively with both pupils and colleagues.
* You hold a positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting pupil development.
* You are committed to upholding the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection.
