About the Role
At a dynamic school, we are seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to provide tailored assistance to a primary-aged pupil with complex needs, which may include Autism Spectrum Disorder, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, or sensory impairments. This pivotal role involves fostering a strong rapport with the pupil and actively contributing to their educational journey and personal development. You will play a crucial part in implementing their individualised Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets and collaborating effectively with a range of professionals, including therapists, to ensure holistic support.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated 1:1 support, adapting strategies to meet the unique learning styles of the pupil.
* Build and maintain a positive, trusting rapport with the pupil, encouraging their engagement and confidence.
* Diligently implement and monitor specific targets outlined within the pupil's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
* Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including speech and language therapists and occupational therapists.
