This vital role involves working 1:1 and in small groups with children who hold Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), addressing challenges such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and speech and language difficulties. Key Responsibilities
* Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to primary pupils with EHCPs.
* Assist children with complex learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
* Implement individualised learning plans and therapeutic strategies effectively.
* Foster an inclusive and positive atmosphere where pupils feel safe and encouraged.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers and specialist therapists to track progress.
* Support pupils in developing essential communication and social skills.
About You
* Demonstrable experience supporting primary-aged children with Special Educational Needs.
* A strong understanding of various complex learning difficulties, such as ASD and ADHD.
