About the Role
A progressive school in the vibrant South East is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join its thriving secondary department on a permanent, long-term contract. This exciting opportunity is open to professionals with any scientific specialism, offering the chance to inspire pupils across all key stages with a passion for discovery and understanding. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across the secondary curriculum to diverse abilities.
* Plan, prepare, and assess stimulating schemes of work in line with national curriculum standards.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils feel valued and challenged.
* Monitor and report on pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
* Contribute to departmental meetings and wider school initiatives, enhancing the educational provision.
* Ensure a safe and well-organised classroom and laboratory space for practical investigations.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a relevant Science degree.
* Possess a proven track record of successful Science teaching, suitable for ECTs, MPS, or UPS level applicants.
* Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, or a strong specialism in one area.
* Exhibit strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire a love of learning.
* Be committed to continuous professional development and contributing to a collaborative team.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
