Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging pre-planned lessons effectively to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Manage classroom behaviour proactively, ensuring a respectful and productive learning environment for all pupils.
• Adapt quickly to different school cultures and teaching styles across various secondary departments.
• Provide timely feedback to students where appropriate, supporting their ongoing academic progress.
• Collaborate effectively with departmental staff and senior leadership regarding pupil welfare and progress.
• Maintain a professional standard of conduct and uphold school policies and procedures at all times.
About You
• Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrate recent successful experience teaching within UK secondary schools.
• Exhibit exceptional flexibility and adaptability, thriving in varied educational contexts and subjects.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills, capable of fostering a positive and ordered learning space.
• Hold a genuine passion for inspiring young people and commitment to supporting their educational journey.
• Be highly organised and proactive, able to quickly assimilate new information and school procedures.
• Possess an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
