About the Role

Key Responsibilities
• Provide dedicated support to EYFS children, both individually and in small groups, to enhance their learning and development.
• Assist the class teacher in the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities across all areas of the early years curriculum.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a stimulating, safe, and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
• Observe and assess children's progress, providing valuable feedback to the teacher to inform future planning.
• Support the implementation of school policies and procedures, with a particular focus on safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

About You
• Possess a genuine passion for working with young children and an understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) principles.
• Hold relevant qualifications or experience working in an early years setting.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with children, colleagues, and parents.
• Exhibit a patient, nurturing, and creative approach to supporting children's learning and emotional development.
• Be proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• Show a commitment to continuous professional development and contributing positively to the school community.
