We are seeking a dedicated SEN Supply Teacher to join a inclusive school in the Daventry area, within Northamptonshire, East Midlands. This exciting opportunity involves covering classes across various adapted curriculum areas within specialist secondary SEN settings. You will be instrumental in supporting pupils with diverse Special Educational Needs on a daily supply and short-term basis, making a significant impact on their learning journeys from an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and accessible lessons tailored for secondary pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.
* Adapt teaching methods and resources to effectively meet individual learning styles and abilities.
* Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment where every pupil feels valued.
* Collaborate closely with teaching assistants and fellow colleagues to ensure cohesive pupil support and progress.
* Implement consistent and positive behaviour management strategies appropriate for SEN settings.
* Provide constructive feedback to pupils, encouraging their academic and personal development.
About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience.
* Demonstrable experience working with secondary-aged pupils with diverse Special Educational Needs is essential.
* A genuine passion for supporting the holistic development and well-being of pupils with additional needs.
* You exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with pupils and staff.
* Exceptional adaptability and resilience are key when navigating varied school environments.
