You will be instrumental in implementing structured routines, effective sensory strategies, and tailored communication support. Opportunities are available for various contract types, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent positions, offering competitive daily rates between £90 and £115, with an immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide bespoke support to primary pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* Implement and maintain structured routines to foster a predictable learning environment.
* Utilise effective sensory strategies to support pupil engagement and well-being.
* Deliver tailored communication support to enhance pupil expression and understanding.
* Collaborate closely with the class teacher and specialist staff within the ASD provision.
* Monitor pupil progress and adapt support methods as required.
About You
* Proven experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ideally within a primary setting.
* A clear understanding of effective strategies for pupils with additional learning needs.
* Ability to work proactively and independently, as well as part of a cohesive team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic approach.
* A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
* Flexibility to consider various contract types, from daily supply to permanent roles.
