About the Role
An inclusive school in the Bedfordshire area is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate SEMH Teacher for primary-aged pupils. This specialist setting provides crucial support for children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, offering a unique opportunity to make a profound difference. You will be instrumental in building therapeutic relationships, expertly managing challenging behaviour, and delivering tailored, engaging lessons that foster academic and personal growth. We welcome applications for long-term, daily supply, and permanent contracts, with an immediate start available for the right candidate, offering a competitive daily rate ranging from £150 to £250.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver stimulating and differentiated lessons tailored to individual SEMH needs.
* Implement effective strategies for managing challenging behaviours in a supportive environment.
* Foster strong therapeutic relationships with pupils, promoting their emotional well-being and resilience.
* Assess pupil progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching methods.
* Collaborate effectively with support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure holistic pupil development.
* Contribute positively to the school's inclusive culture and safeguarding practices.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess experience working with primary-aged pupils.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEMH needs and a commitment to their success.
* Possess a proven track record of managing complex behaviours with empathy and consistency.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with all stakeholders.
* Be adaptable, resilient, and proactive in creating a positive learning environment.
* Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced Teachers (MPS/UPS).
