Key Responsibilities
* Designing and delivering engaging Chemistry lessons that ignite curiosity and foster deep understanding.
* Developing and implementing effective assessment strategies to monitor pupil progress and inform future teaching.
* Cultivating a stimulating and supportive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
* Contributing actively to the wider science department's curriculum development and extracurricular initiatives.
* Maintaining accurate records of pupil achievement and communicating effectively with parents/carers.
* Upholding the school's high standards for behaviour and academic excellence.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a relevant degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
* Demonstrate a proven track record of inspiring pupils across the secondary age range in Chemistry.
* Exhibit a passion for fostering scientific inquiry and critical thinking skills.
* Be committed to continuous professional development and innovative teaching practices.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong rapport with pupils and colleagues.
* Ready to embrace the challenges of a dynamic educational setting, whether as an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced professional (MPS/UPS).
