About the Role
A progressive school in the Hertford area is seeking dedicated Secondary Supply Teachers and Cover Supervisors to join their dynamic team. This varied role involves providing essential classroom cover across mainstream secondary settings within Hertfordshire, supporting student learning in the absence of their regular teacher. We are looking for flexible professionals who can commit to daily, short-term, long-term, or even permanent assignments, with an immediate start available. The daily rate for this pivotal position is between £145 and £160.

Key Responsibilities
* Effectively deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects.
* Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment in line with school policies.
* Supervise students and ensure their safety and well-being throughout the school day.
* Liaise with departmental staff regarding student progress and any critical observations.
* Support students with diverse learning needs to access the curriculum.
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance and engagement where required.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or possess significant experience as a Cover Supervisor.
* Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and a flexible approach to teaching.
* Be passionate about fostering a supportive and engaging educational experience for all students.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to connect with staff and pupils alike.
* Be reliable, adaptable, and able to respond quickly to varying school requirements.
* Show a commitment to continuous professional development and best practice.
