We are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to provide essential support across the classroom, fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for our youngest learners. This role offers the chance to make a real difference, supporting children's early development and learning journeys. Flexible contract options are available, ranging from daily supply to permanent placements, with competitive daily rates between £95 and £110, ready for an ASAP start.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging learning activities tailored to the EYFS curriculum.
* Provide individual and small group support to children, nurturing their social, emotional, and academic development.
* Support children with special educational needs, adapting activities to ensure full participation and progress.
* Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
* Prepare and organise classroom resources, ensuring they are accessible and appropriate for early years learners.
* Contribute to the assessment and tracking of children’s progress, maintaining accurate records as required.
About You
* You possess previous experience working within an Early Years Foundation Stage setting.
* A relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desirable.
* You demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting the development and wellbeing of young children.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with children, staff, and parents.
* You are proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
* A strong understanding of safeguarding practices and an unwavering commitment to child protection are paramount.
