This flexible role provides an excellent opportunity to manage classroom dynamics and facilitate engaging lessons across various subjects, ensuring continuity of education in the regular teacher’s absence. You will play a crucial part in maintaining a positive learning environment, supporting students to remain focused and productive throughout their school day, with contracts available on a long-term, short-term, daily supply, or permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
• Effectively manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a productive and respectful learning atmosphere for all pupils.
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and resources, guiding students through their work as directed by teaching staff.
• Promote student engagement and encourage independent learning across various curriculum areas.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and any notable incidents during lessons, reporting back to the relevant colleagues.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and senior leaders, providing feedback on lesson progress and student participation.
• Uphold the school's high standards for student conduct and academic effort throughout the school day.
