Key Responsibilities
• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs.
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other personalised support strategies.
• Collaborate closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to monitor pupil progress effectively.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, adapting resources to meet specific needs.
• Support pupils' social and emotional development, promoting independence and confidence in their learning journey.
• Manage pupil behaviour effectively, employing positive reinforcement techniques and de-escalation strategies.
About You
• Possess demonstrable experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a primary setting.
• Exhibit a compassionate and patient approach, understanding individual learning styles and needs.
• Hold excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
