You will be instrumental in maintaining educational continuity and delivering an adapted curriculum across various specialist settings on a daily supply and short-term basis. Key Responsibilities
* Effectively cover classes across a range of adapted curriculum areas for secondary-aged students.
* Implement engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual special educational needs.
* Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment at all times.
* Adapt teaching strategies to meet the evolving and diverse requirements of students with SEND.
* Collaborate seamlessly with teaching assistants and other support staff to enhance learning outcomes.
* Manage classroom dynamics effectively, promoting a respectful and focused atmosphere.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be eligible for MPS/UPS pay scale.
* Possess proven experience teaching secondary-aged students with a range of special educational needs.
* Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of various SEND conditions and effective support strategies.
* Exhibit exceptional adaptability and resilience in managing diverse classroom environments.
* Possess a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable learners.
