About the Role
Join a dynamic school where you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of learning across various subjects. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated Cover Supervisor to step into classrooms, facilitate planned activities, and ensure a positive and productive environment for pupils in the absence of their regular teachers. You will be instrumental in supporting student engagement and progress, making a tangible difference to their daily educational experience within a supportive setting. This position offers a chance to develop your skills and contribute significantly to the school community on a long-term, short-term, daily supply, or permanent basis, commencing as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring pupils complete pre-set work.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a safe and focused learning atmosphere.
• Respond to pupil questions and provide general assistance to support their understanding of tasks.
• Follow school policies and procedures regarding pupil welfare and behaviour management.
• Report any issues or incidents to the relevant staff member following established protocols.
• Promote a positive learning environment, encouraging pupils to engage respectfully with their studies.

About You
• You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport quickly with pupils and staff.
• You demonstrate strong behaviour management strategies and a confident classroom presence.
• You are adaptable and resilient, capable of thriving in varied classroom settings.
• You have a genuine passion for supporting young people's education and development.
• You are reliable and punctual, committed to your professional responsibilities.
• Previous experience working with young people in an educational or supervisory capacity is highly desirable.
