Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct, tailored support to primary school pupils, both individually and in small groups.
• Assist the class teacher diligently in preparing and delivering engaging lesson activities.
• Support the social and emotional development of children, actively promoting positive behaviour and well-being.
• Help create and maintain a stimulating, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all pupils.
• Facilitate the full inclusion of every child, including those with special educational needs, adapting support as required.
• Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of pupil progress, accurately recording observations where necessary.
About You
• Possess a recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or an equivalent relevant certification.
• Demonstrate previous experience supporting children within a primary school setting.
• Exhibit a genuine passion for education and a strong commitment to fostering every pupil's development.
• Hold excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective with both children and staff members.
• Show initiative, adaptability, and a proactive approach to enhancing the learning experience.
• Be fully committed to safeguarding and actively promoting the welfare of all pupils under your care.
