Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary pupils with SEMH needs within a specialist setting.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies to promote a positive learning atmosphere.
* Assist pupils in developing robust emotional regulation skills and coping mechanisms.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support both academic progress and personal development.
* Facilitate the successful reintegration of pupils into mainstream learning environments where appropriate.
* Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing educational experience for all young people.
About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
* Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils in a special educational needs setting is essential.
* A strong understanding of effective behaviour support techniques and de-escalation strategies is required.
