About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Secondary Supply Teacher to join a supportive school in the Thatcham area, offering diverse opportunities across mainstream secondary environments. This dynamic role involves providing essential cover across various subjects, ensuring continuity of learning for students during staff absences. You will have the flexibility to choose from daily, short-term, or long-term contract options, with possibilities for permanent roles, starting as soon as possible, at a competitive daily rate of £145 - £160.

Key Responsibilities
* Effectively deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects.
* Maintain a stimulating and orderly classroom environment for all pupils.
* Consistently manage student behaviour in accordance with school guidelines.
* Ensure the safety and welfare of students throughout the school day.
* Provide clear instructions and support to students to complete assigned tasks.
* Facilitate a positive and engaging learning experience for every student.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant experience in a secondary school cover supervisor role.
* Demonstrate exceptional classroom management and behavioural leadership skills.
* Exhibit a highly adaptable and flexible approach to various teaching assignments.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students and colleagues.
* Be committed to maintaining high standards of education and student welfare.
* Show a genuine passion for inspiring secondary school students in their learning journey.
