About the Role
A dedicated school in West London is seeking a compassionate and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision immediately. This rewarding role involves providing essential support to secondary-aged pupils with complex needs, facilitating an adapted curriculum, and actively promoting their independence. We have a variety of contract opportunities available, from daily supply to long-term and permanent roles, offering a competitive daily rate between £90 and £115.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver personalised assistance to secondary pupils requiring additional support for complex needs.
* Support the implementation of individual education plans and adapted learning strategies.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff to ensure an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
* Encourage and develop pupils' social, emotional, and independent living skills.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to regular assessments and reviews.
* Adapt communication and support techniques to meet diverse individual requirements.

About You
* Possess a genuine commitment to supporting the educational journey of pupils with special educational needs.
* Bring prior experience working with secondary school pupils, ideally within an SEN environment.
* Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
* Show initiative, patience, and a proactive approach to supporting student development.
* Hold relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs support.
* Be a resilient team player, eager to contribute positively to a supportive school community.
