About the Role
A highly regarded school is seeking an inspirational Biology Teacher to join their thriving Science department on a long-term, permanent contract starting in September 2026. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated educator, whether an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced professional at Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS), to make a significant impact on student achievement and foster a deep appreciation for the biological sciences within a supportive secondary setting. Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver captivating Biology lessons across the secondary curriculum, igniting curiosity and understanding.
* Develop comprehensive schemes of work and lesson plans that challenge and support every student.
* Rigorously assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to drive improvement.
* Actively contribute to the ongoing development and success of the dynamic Science department.
* Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel empowered to learn.
* Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and promote the welfare of all pupils.

About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and hold a relevant degree in Biology or a related scientific discipline.
* Your passion for Biology is infectious, inspiring students to explore the wonders of life sciences.
* You demonstrate a proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and secure excellent outcomes for all pupils.
* A commitment to continuous professional development and innovative pedagogical approaches defines your practice.
