Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to individual primary pupils with Special Educational Needs, both in small groups and one-to-one settings.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers and external professionals to implement personalised learning plans effectively.
* Foster a supportive and stimulating environment that encourages pupil engagement and progress.
* Assist with the preparation and adaptation of learning materials to meet diverse requirements.
* Observe and record pupil progress, contributing to regular assessments and reviews.
* Promote positive behaviour and social skills development within the classroom and wider school setting.
About You
* You possess previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs within a primary school context.
* You demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and overall well-being.
* You are an excellent communicator, able to build strong rapport with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
* You approach challenges with patience, empathy, and a positive outlook.
* You are proactive, adaptable, and capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a dedicated team.
* You hold a strong understanding of safeguarding principles and are committed to upholding them at all times.
