This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated school as an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant. You will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and development of young learners within a vibrant primary setting. We are seeking a passionate individual to assist the class teacher, fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment for our youngest pupils. This role offers flexibility with various contract types, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent positions, attracting a competitive daily rate of £95 - £110.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS activities and lessons.
* Provide targeted support to individual children and small groups to enhance their learning.
* Help create a stimulating, safe, and nurturing indoor and outdoor learning environment.
* Observe and accurately report on children's progress, achievements, and developmental needs.
* Support children with additional educational needs, adapting approaches as required.
* Encourage positive social interactions, independence, and a love for learning among pupils.
About You
* You possess a genuine passion for working with young children in their early years.
* Experience supporting children within an Early Years Foundation Stage setting is essential.
* You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport effectively.
* A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting pupil learning and well-being is highly valued.
* You are committed to fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and child-centred environment.
* An understanding of child development stages
