Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support to secondary pupils with complex special educational needs.
* Assist in the implementation of differentiated learning activities and an adapted curriculum.
* Foster and encourage pupils' social, emotional, and academic independence throughout the school day.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment.
* Contribute proactively to managing pupil behaviour, ensuring a safe and positive space for all learners.
* Support pupils' access to extracurricular activities and enrichment programmes.
About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting young people with special educational needs.
* Demonstrable experience working with secondary-aged pupils, particularly those with complex learning requirements.
* Exhibit exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience when facing diverse daily challenges.
* Strong ability to communicate effectively with pupils, staff, and parents/carers.
