About the Role
An exceptional school is seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant primary team. This pivotal role involves providing comprehensive support to young pupils with a range of special educational needs, fostering their academic progress and personal development within an inclusive mainstream environment. You will play a crucial part in creating a positive and stimulating learning experience, working closely with class teachers and other professionals to implement tailored support plans and ensure every child thrives.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with diverse SEN, assisting with learning activities.
* Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies effectively.
* Help create a supportive and engaging classroom atmosphere that promotes inclusion for all pupils.
* Assist in monitoring pupil progress, recording observations, and contributing to assessments.
* Support pupils with their social and emotional development, fostering independence and confidence.
* Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to pupil support.

About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs in a primary setting.
* You have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with pupils requiring SEN support.
* You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with pupils and colleagues.
* You are patient, adaptable, resilient, and proactive in addressing individual pupil requirements.
* You hold relevant qualifications or training related to supporting pupils with SEN.
* You are committed to continuous professional development and contributing positively to a school community.
