We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Computing Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Buckinghamshire. This is an exceptional opportunity to inspire the next generation of digital innovators and critical thinkers, shaping their understanding and application of computing principles. The role offers a long-term or permanent contract, with a preferred start date of September or sooner, allowing you to become an integral part of a forward-thinking department. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality, engaging Computing lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, adapting to diverse learning needs.
* Plan, prepare, and deliver an inspiring curriculum that fosters a deep understanding and passion for computing.
* Assess pupil progress rigorously, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their development.
* Contribute to the ongoing development and review of departmental schemes of work and resources.
* Maintain a stimulating and well-managed classroom environment that encourages active participation and inquiry.
* Participate in wider school activities, supporting the school’s ethos and contributing to a positive community.
About You
* You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK and a relevant degree in Computing or a related field.
* You will possess a strong command of the Computing curriculum, including programming, computational thinking, and digital literacy.
* Experience teaching Computing to secondary school pupils is essential, welcoming applications from ECTs through to UPS.
* You should demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning atmosphere.
* A commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of technological advancements is highly valued.
* You will be a collaborative team player with a passion for education and a desire to make a real impact on pupils' lives.
