Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct support to primary pupils exhibiting social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
* Implement effective de-escalation techniques to manage challenging behaviours calmly.
* Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with pupils, promoting trust and respect.
* Assist teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities across the curriculum.
* Monitor pupil progress, behaviour, and emotional well-being, reporting observations to staff.
* Contribute to the creation of a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all.
About You
* You possess prior experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs.
* You demonstrate exceptional patience, empathy, and a resilient approach to your work.
* You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for collaborating with pupils and staff.
* You are adept at working both independently and as part of a supportive team.
* You show initiative and proactively identify ways to enhance pupil engagement and progress.
