You will be instrumental in implementing structured routines, deploying effective sensory strategies, and facilitating crucial communication support within a dedicated ASD provision. This vital role is available with flexible contract options, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent arrangements, commencing as soon as possible, offering a competitive daily rate between £90 and £115.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide specialised, individualised support for primary-aged pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* Implement well-established structured routines to foster a predictable and secure learning environment.
* Deliver effective sensory strategies to meet the diverse needs of pupils within the specialist provision.
* Facilitate and enhance communication, utilising a range of tools and approaches suitable for pupils with ASD.
* Assist pupils with their academic and social development, promoting independence and engagement.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers and other professionals to ensure a cohesive support system.
About You
* You possess proven experience supporting primary pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* You demonstrate a strong understanding of effective strategies for behaviour management and sensory regulation.
* Your communication skills are outstanding, allowing you to connect effectively with pupils and staff.
* You are patient, empathetic, and resilient, thriving in a supportive educational setting.
* You are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every child can flourish.
* You hold a relevant qualification or have significant practical experience in SEN support.
