Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate closely with class teachers to implement individualised learning plans and adapted curriculum strategies.
* Assist in preparing engaging learning resources and maintaining a stimulating classroom environment.
* Promote the development of essential life skills and foster greater pupil independence.
* Monitor and accurately record pupil progress, contributing to regular review meetings.
* Effectively manage challenging behaviours with patience and consistent positive reinforcement.
About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and disabilities.
* Demonstrate previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils, particularly those with complex learning needs.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong rapport with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Show a proactive and resilient approach to overcoming daily challenges in an educational setting.
* Hold relevant qualifications or have a strong commitment to professional development in SEN.
