We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Cover Supervisor to join a dynamic school in the vibrant Hertfordshire area. This fulfilling role, commencing as soon as possible, offers the opportunity to provide essential classroom support, ensuring continuity of learning across various subjects. You will be instrumental in maintaining a positive and productive educational environment for students throughout the school day. This position is available on a long-term basis, with options for daily supply, short-term assignments, or even a permanent contract for the right candidate, offering a competitive daily rate of £145 - £160.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering pre-prepared work to students across different subject areas.
* Effectively managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
* Fostering a positive and respectful learning atmosphere for all pupils.
* Ensuring students remain on task and are supported in their learning activities.
* Communicating effectively with teaching staff regarding student progress and incidents.
* Upholding the school's commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
About You
* Possess previous experience in a classroom or youth-based setting.
* Demonstrate excellent behaviour management strategies and techniques.
* Hold a genuine passion for supporting young people's educational journeys.
