This pivotal role involves providing essential planning, preparation, and assessment cover across all primary phases, from Early Years Foundation Stage to Key Stage 2. You will play a crucial part in ensuring continuity of learning and supporting the professional development of teaching staff by allowing them dedicated planning time. This is a dynamic opportunity to make a real impact on pupil progress and the overall school environment, with a competitive daily rate of £150 - £180.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
* Skillfully adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of pupils in various year groups.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour, promoting respect and engagement among all pupils.
* Provide constructive feedback on pupil progress, liaising with class teachers where appropriate.
* Contribute positively to the wider school community and its ethos.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrable experience within UK primary schools.
* Showcase proven ability to teach across the full primary age range, including EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
* Display exceptional adaptability and flexibility, thriving in diverse classroom settings.
* Demonstrate outstanding classroom management techniques that promote a positive learning atmosphere.
* Hold a genuine passion for primary education and fostering pupil development.
