About the Role
An inclusive school in the vibrant Berkshire area is seeking a dedicated and passionate Chemistry Teacher to join its thriving Science department on a permanent contract from September 2026. Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver dynamic Chemistry lessons across the secondary key stages, ensuring all pupils are challenged and inspired.
* Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate academic growth.
* Contribute actively to the ongoing development and enhancement of the Science curriculum.
* Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where scientific enquiry is encouraged.
* Engage in departmental meetings and contribute to the wider school community through collaborative initiatives.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a productive and respectful learning atmosphere.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree specialism in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
* Demonstrate a proven track record of inspiring pupils in Science, particularly Chemistry, across the secondary age range.
* Be adept at employing a variety of innovative teaching methodologies to cater to diverse learning styles.
* Showcase excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong rapport with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
* Exhibit a genuine enthusiasm for continuing professional development and a commitment to reflective practice.
* Be a proactive team player, willing to contribute positively to the collaborative spirit of a dynamic department.
