About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ASD Support Assistant to join an exceptional school in Luton. This vital role involves providing specialist support for primary pupils on the autism spectrum within a dedicated provision. You will play a key part in implementing structured routines, sensory strategies, and communication support to foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored specialist support to primary pupils on the autism spectrum.
* Implement structured routines and consistent approaches to learning.
* Utilise effective sensory strategies to support pupil engagement and regulation.
* Facilitate and enhance communication development for individual pupils.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers and SENCOs on pupil progress.
* Foster an inclusive and supportive environment within the specialist provision.

About You
* Possess relevant experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* Demonstrate a patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to support.
* Understand the unique developmental needs of primary-aged pupils.
* Capable of implementing structured interventions and sensory strategies effectively.
* Committed to fostering positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
* Eager to contribute positively to a vibrant school community.
