Key Responsibilities
• Deliver dynamic and engaging Computing lessons to secondary pupils, ensuring a broad and balanced curriculum.
• Cultivate a stimulating learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore complex concepts.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality schemes of work and individual lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid their development.
• Contribute effectively to the department’s ongoing development, sharing best practice and innovative teaching methods.
• Promote a strong understanding of e-safety and responsible digital citizenship among all students.

About You
• You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrable experience teaching Computing across secondary key stages.
• A genuine passion for computing education drives your desire to inspire young people.
• You are adept at creating inclusive and challenging learning experiences for all abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills allow you to build strong rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
• You are highly organised, proactive, and committed to continuous professional development.
• Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as experienced teachers on MPS or UPS.
