We are seeking an inspiring Design & Technology Teacher to join a progressive school for a long-term, permanent role starting in September 2026. This secondary position involves delivering engaging DT lessons across key stages, fostering creativity, and developing practical skills in our pupils. Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver innovative Design & Technology lessons across the secondary curriculum.
* Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
* Maintain a safe, organised, and stimulating workshop environment for all learners.
* Contribute to the ongoing development and review of the DT curriculum.
* Inspire pupils to explore diverse materials and manufacturing processes.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for Design & Technology and its educational value.
* Exhibit strong classroom management skills, ensuring a positive learning atmosphere.
* Show an ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
* Be committed to continuous professional development and personal growth.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, contributing positively to our team.
