Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons across a broad modified curriculum.
* Implement effective strategies for managing complex behaviours in the classroom.
* Inspire and motivate students to re-engage with their learning journey.
* Provide personalised support to facilitate academic progress and social development.
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere where every student feels valued.
* Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to ensure holistic student support.
About You
* You possess qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
* You have demonstrable experience working with secondary-aged students with SEMH needs.
* You are adept at managing challenging behaviours with patience and professionalism.
* You exhibit a genuine passion for making a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
* You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships.
* You are adaptable, resilient, and committed to continuous professional development.
