Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored assistance to pupils with Special Educational Needs within a primary setting.
* Implement and adapt learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCo.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all children feel valued.
* Support pupils in developing their independence and social skills.
* Assist with the preparation of resources and the organisation of the learning environment.
* Monitor pupil progress, providing valuable feedback to teaching staff.
About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting the educational journey of primary-aged children.
* Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs is essential.
* You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships.
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach characterises your professional manner.
* You are proactive and adaptable, able to respond effectively to varying pupil needs.
* Relevant qualifications or training in supporting pupils with SEN would be highly advantageous.
