We are seeking a dynamic Secondary Supply Teacher to join a network of respected schools across the Reading area. This exciting opportunity offers significant flexibility, allowing you to choose between daily cover, short-term assignments, or longer-term placements, with potential for permanent roles. You will play a crucial role in maintaining educational continuity, inspiring pupils across various subjects at secondary level. This position offers a competitive daily rate of £145 - £160, commencing as soon as possible, providing an excellent platform to broaden your teaching experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-planned lessons effectively, ensuring a productive learning environment for all pupils.
* Manage classroom behaviour consistently and positively, fostering an atmosphere of mutual respect.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils under your supervision throughout the school day.
* Adhere strictly to individual school policies and procedures, maintaining professional standards.
* Adapt quickly to new school environments and varying subject demands, demonstrating versatility.
* Provide comprehensive cover for absent teaching staff across a range of secondary subjects.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Demonstrate previous experience working within a secondary school setting in the UK.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills, ensuring an orderly and engaging learning space.
* Show a high degree of adaptability and flexibility, thriving in diverse educational environments.
