Key Responsibilities
* Deliver dynamic and engaging Design & Technology lessons to secondary school students, covering a broad range of materials and processes.
* Plan and prepare innovative schemes of work and lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
* Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
* Maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment within the workshop and classroom.
* Contribute to the wider school community through participation in departmental meetings and extracurricular activities.
* Uphold high standards of behaviour and academic achievement across all year groups.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) or experienced professionals (MPS/UPS).
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for Design & Technology and its potential to inspire students.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills, fostering a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
* Show a commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
* Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
* Be a proactive and enthusiastic team player, eager to contribute positively to a thriving department.
