About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons across the secondary curriculum, fostering a love for the subject in all pupils. Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver dynamic Chemistry lessons that engage and challenge pupils of all abilities.
• Assess pupil progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Chemistry curriculum and departmental resources.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Participate in wider school activities and contribute to the school community.
• Uphold the school's high standards for behaviour and academic achievement.

About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
• Possess a genuine passion for Chemistry and the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to pupil welfare.
• Be a collaborative team player with a proactive approach to professional development.
• Have a proven track record of, or a clear potential for, delivering excellent pupil outcomes.
• Be enthusiastic about contributing to a thriving Science department, whether you are an Early Career Teacher or more experienced.
