Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated support to primary pupils within a specialist ASD provision.
* Implement and maintain structured routines to create a predictable learning environment.
* Assist with the development and application of sensory strategies tailored to individual pupil needs.
* Facilitate effective communication support, using a range of appropriate methods.
* Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging pupil engagement and progress.
* Collaborate closely with teachers and other professionals to review pupil development plans.
About You
* You possess previous experience working with primary-aged pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* You demonstrate a patient, empathetic, and understanding approach to individual pupil needs.
* You are skilled in adapting communication styles to suit diverse learning preferences.
* You are a proactive and collaborative team member, eager to contribute to a supportive staff community.
* You have a genuine passion for supporting the development and well-being of young people.
