We are seeking an enthusiastic educator to deliver high-quality science education, with a specialism in Physics and the ability to teach Chemistry, starting in September or sooner. Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons across various key stages, ensuring curriculum coverage.
* Develop and implement creative teaching strategies that inspire scientific curiosity and understanding.
* Assess student learning effectively, providing constructive feedback to facilitate academic progress.
* Contribute actively to the ongoing development and review of the science curriculum.
* Maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment where all students can thrive.
* Potentially teach aspects of Chemistry to a range of abilities within the department.
About You
* You will possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Physics or a related scientific field.
* Demonstrable passion for Physics and a strong ability to impart complex scientific concepts clearly.
* Experience teaching Chemistry at secondary level would be highly advantageous.
* Proven track record of fostering excellent student engagement and managing a dynamic classroom.
* A commitment to continuous professional development and contributing to a collaborative team.
* Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as experienced Teachers on Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS).
