A respected school in the Bushey area of Hertfordshire is actively seeking a dynamic Cover Supervisor to join its dedicated team. This crucial role involves stepping in to maintain educational continuity and foster a positive learning atmosphere across various secondary classrooms. We are seeking a dedicated professional for flexible opportunities, including daily supply, short-term, long-term, and potentially permanent roles, offering a competitive daily rate of £145 - £160. You will be instrumental in ensuring pupils remain engaged and productive during staff absences, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain a calm and focused learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher.
* Deliver pre-prepared work efficiently and ensure pupils are on task.
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour, upholding school policies consistently.
* Actively engage pupils with their learning materials, promoting independent study.
* Accurately report on pupil attendance, behaviour, and any arising issues.
* Provide clear instructions and support to facilitate a productive learning experience.

* Possess exceptional communication skills to connect with pupils and staff effectively.
* Demonstrate strong behaviour management techniques to maintain order and respect.
