This pivotal role involves providing essential support to pupils across the primary phase, including targeted SEN assistance, fostering an inclusive and enriching learning environment. We are looking for a committed individual who can contribute to the positive development of young learners. This position offers flexible contract options, ranging from long-term and daily supply to short-term and permanent opportunities, starting as soon as possible, with a competitive daily rate of £95 - £110.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to individual pupils and small groups, enhancing their access to the curriculum.
* Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging learning activities that cater to diverse needs.
* Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to ensure their full inclusion and progress.
* Contribute to maintaining a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, feeding back observations to the class teacher to inform future planning.
* Prepare and organise resources effectively to facilitate smooth lesson delivery.
About You
* Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
* Possess demonstrable experience supporting children within a primary school setting.
* Exhibit a genuine passion for nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning.
* Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Possess a proactive and adaptable approach, responding effectively to the evolving needs of the classroom.
