About the Role
A dedicated school in Bedfordshire is seeking a skilled and empathetic SEN Supply Teacher to join their supportive secondary environment on a daily supply and short-term basis, with an immediate start available. This vital role involves covering classes across various adapted curriculum areas within specialist SEN settings, providing essential continuity and high-quality education to pupils with diverse special educational needs. You will play a crucial part in supporting the school’s commitment to providing an inclusive and enriching learning experience for every young person.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons across a broad, adapted curriculum for secondary-aged pupils.
* Differentiate teaching strategies effectively to meet individual pupil needs and learning styles.
* Manage classroom behaviour positively, fostering a safe and encouraging learning environment.
* Collaborate constructively with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure comprehensive pupil care.
* Maintain accurate records of pupil attendance, progress, and behavioural incidents as required.
* Uphold all school policies and procedures, contributing to a cohesive and respectful school community.

About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrable experience working with secondary-aged pupils.
* You have proven experience and a genuine passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs.
* You exhibit a strong understanding of various SEN conditions and effective intervention strategies.
* You demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and adaptability to new environments.
* You approach every situation with compassion, patience, and resilience.
* You are capable of integrating quickly into established teams and adhering to school-specific practices.
